Two NC Pin Events This Month!
Secure your spot for two great pin trading events: one in Raleigh on Saturday, March 7th and an even bigger one in Durham on Saturday, March 28th.
We’re very excited to have two events this month and hope to see ya there! Here’s how to secure your spot and maximize your experience:
Saturday, March 7th:
Come join us in Raleigh this Saturday! Our last Triangle event brought in a record-setting 200 people (the previous high was 120). With our events gaining more and more attention, we came up with a few pro tips on how you can best maximize your experience.
First, make sure to secure your spot in advance online. While you are more than welcome to pay at the door (exact change preferred), those who buy their tickets in advance will get priority entry. You can order your tickets online here or scan the QR code below (online sales close the night of Friday, March 6th):
Our next best tips are to get there early, avoid street parking, and dress cool (the venue can get pretty warm no matter the weather or indoor temperature due to the number of attendees). We do have a water fountain in the venue and also allow for re-entry if folks need to step outside.
Where should you park? The Mordecai Park lot on Mimosa Street is a 2-minute walk to the venue and makes for a much less stressful experience than trying to find a street space.
Attendees can begin lining up starting at 12:30 p.m. The doors will open promptly at 1 p.m., with priority entry going to those who bought in advance online, followed by those who brought exact cash change, followed by everyone else.
But if you’re looking for even more fun (and more walking space), we strongly encourage folks to attend our first-ever Spring NC Disneyana convention!
Saturday, March 28th:
Last year, we sold out of convention tables in 11 days. The waitlist got quite long, and many people weren’t able to secure a vendor slot. So we decided to nearly double our table capacity this year to give more folks an opportunity.
We’ve had a few cancellations come on the heels of Disney announcing a shopping event in New York on the same day, so we now have 19 tables remaining, including one coveted wall spot in the grand ballroom, a few center tables in the grand ballroom and several wall spots in the overflow room.

Pro Tip: All tables come with entry included for two people, so if you and a friend were planning to come for the full event and think you can sell $30 worth of pins or Disney items, the table pays for itself.
If you plan on traveling a long distance to the event, make sure to take advantage of our discounted hotel room block rate before it’s too late.

For all you advance planners, make sure to check your email inbox in exactly one week.
On Monday, March 9th we’ll have our next table release. Tables to our May 9th Triangle event will almost assuredly sell out within a matter of hours, so make sure to secure your spot before we post to the Facebook groups later in the day.
